My work is based on the belief that all individuals have strengths that can be used to overcome life’s challenges. I always first work to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship with each of my clients as a foundation for future progress. An individual must first feel safe in the therapeutic space that I have provided if we are going to be successful working together.
Once a therapeutic relationship has been developed I use an integrative approach to meet the needs of my clients. I primarily use Dance/Movement Therapy and other creative and expressive modalities as well as mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I also enjoy studying other therapeutic methods to better understand and heal my clients.
